Banana Espresso Chai Smoothie

This is a delicious morning energy-packed smoothie recipe that can be sipped on through the morning or made into a nourishing bowl with nuts, seeds, granola or fresh fruits. Bananas are full of fiber and great for PMS symptoms as well. Pairing it with dates and coffee works wonders for the morning time. A pinch of our Chai Masala adds depth to the flavours but most importantly, a great nourishing factor with hand pounded spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger among others that help with gut healing, warmth and provide balance.

Ingredients

1 frozen banana slices

3-4 tbsp milk of your choice

3-4 tbsp espresso

2 dates, soaked in hot espresso

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tsp Nature Therapy Chai Masala

2- 3 ice cubes (optional)

Method

Squeeze out excess water from the dates and place in a high-power blender

Add the remaining ingredients and blend up

Pour into a bowl and garnish with some fresh fruits and granola or pour into a glass and drink away!
